H-Profile
AKS Lining Systems has developed an H-Profile for joining AKS panels to ensure that no concrete fines escape
through the joints.
The two edges of adjacent AKS sheets are simply pushed into the H-Profile
to create a snug fit. Should a row of knobs prevent the H-Profile from
being fitted snugly, these knobs must be removed with a knob cutter.
The H-Profile is designed in such a way, that once the AKS has been cast
into the concrete and the formwork removed, the front face of the H-Profile is simply peeled off, exposing a clean surface for extrusion welding
of the joint.
